Websites by ISF
Integrative Strategies Forum has developed a variety of websites for various networks and projects in which we participate, in addition to our own website.
We believe it is critical for NGOs to leverage the Internet for greater and more effective collaboration, information sharing, and advocacy work. We strive to create positive impacts as a direct result of our work within these NGO networks and communities.
As an active player in several domestic and international policy arenas, we have found that for such sites to be most effective, it is essential that they be conceptualized, developed, and managed by NGOs themselves. Those who are engaged in the processes which the website hopes to facilitate are best able to define what is most beneficial to them. As a result, we regularly interact with our NGO site partners to discuss and plan content, enhancements, and extensions for our websites.
The sites we produce and manage include:
- CitNet: Citizens Network for Sustainable Development
<citnet.org>
- ICSPAC: International Coalition for Sustainable
Production and Consumption <icspac.net>
- NASCA: North American Sustainable Consumption Alliance
<nasca.icspac.net>
- SDIN: Sustainable Development Issues Network <sdissues.net>
- ToBI: NGO Taskforce on Business & Industry
<isforum.org/tobi>
In addition, we have created several sub-sites for a number of ad hoc groups on behalf of the primary network, and manage these as a service to the NGO community:
- US Citizens Preparatory Committee for WSSD <citnet.org/uscpc>
- US Civil Society Statements on Sustainability <citnet.org/endorse>
- UN CSD NGO Caucus on Sustainable Production and Consumption <icspac.net/caucus>
- ECO-Forum SPAC Issue Group <icspac.net/ecoforum>
